Mothers Day and our renovation update

Well it seems that life will now start to get back to normal, with all the public holidays pretty much over for the rest of the year. Unfortunately now it is just the hard slog until Christmas.

But with mother’s day around the corner, have you decided what you’re going to do for that special person and how you’re going to celebrate your day?  I am looking forward to celebrating it with my boys, and the rest of my family.  So far I have received an empty muesli bar box wrapped up in butcher’s paper from my eldest son (who is nearly 4) which he made at Kindy, it seemed really sweet, until…  he decided he needed to open it for me and then asked me to go and get him some muesli bars for “his” box!

It has been another short week, and I am not too sure what I have achieved.  Our “redecorating” is still a work in progress but I do promise to post some pictures next week to show you how were going and see what you think.  The green wall colour in our living room seems to be a colour up for discussion, as I think you either love it or hate it.  But luckily I love it so that is all that matters I guess.  I am really enjoying our new space, and it is amazing how a few simple changes can change the feel of everything.  Even Master 4 approves telling me “our new house is wonderful!” All I need to do is find the perfect canvas prints to complement the space and then I think we are nearly done!

The next rooms we will work on will be Jacob’s (Master 4) and our room.  I am going to do a great mural for Jacob’s wall, so stay tuned for that, and I am looking to do a wall decal in our room (something pretty which I am sure will please Tony).  I will keep you posted on these rooms once we get started!

Have a great weekend everyone.
